Schema for WordPress

Welcome to the next big development in Search Engine Optimization.

Schema for WordPress is a plugin that stores the html markup tags that are recognized by the three major search engines  (Google, Bing and Yahoo!) and makes them available using shortcodes when a post or page is created in WordPress.

More details on the schema collection can be found at www.schema.org

KISS the Schema

This site is deliberately kept clean and simple.  You won’t find any fancy graphics, pop-up advertising or lots of experimentation with WordPress plugins; we will be Keeping It Simple, Stupid to ensure that nothing gets in the way of producing the best plugin possible.

Latest Version

The Schema for WordPress plugin is currently on version 1.5.1 which contains some important security plugs.

To join the general discussion on this exciting new search engine optimization technique please feel free to register on the site and introduce yourself.

Details of development progress will be posted here, as will release notes, documentation, user guides and of course feedback forums to help with implementation, bug fixing and improving Schema for WordPress.

Where Next…?

Check the installation notes

If you have any problems or questions there are two places to look for answers:

The Current Activity page is the place to go for the most recent discussions and hot topics of the day.

The SfWP forum is a more structured archive of development notes, documentation, bug tracking etc. as well as a place for the administrators to archive any discussions or topics that otherwise would slip off the first few pages of the Current Activity page.

The Groups Directory is currently not used but as the site and user community develops this can be used to focus discussions by topic or area of interest and may well become a staging post before solutions are archived in the forums.

I just want to ask something right NOW…

Sign up and post something.  We will worry about it being in the right place later.

A Final Word about Spam

Spammers will be shot.
